In the smartphone industry, products move fast. And when the shopping season rolls around, retailers don't hesitate to slash prices for the latest handsets. Though the "biggest" savings usually come with the caveat of a two-year carrier agreement, customers will still be able to pocket back some cash with these Black Friday deals.
Editors' note:This slideshow will be continually updated as more Black Friday deals are released. In addition, CNET's generated price below each device (bolded in red) may not reflect the lowest available price.

Samsung Galaxy S5
Samsung's flagship of the year is seeing deep discounts this holiday season. With the phone, users can get a quad-core processor, a 16-megapixel camera, and a built-in heart-rate monitor anywhere from $0 to $99 from these retailers:
The most recent Apple iPhone has always been considered pricey, but you can save some dough by purchasing it on Black Friday. The iPhone 6 comes with NFC technology (which works in conjunction with Apple Pay), a fingerprint scanner and an elegant unibody design. Walmart and Target will sell the 16GB model for $179 with a two-year contract for AT&T, with the former offering it for Verizon and Sprint as well.
If you're interested in the powerful marquee handset from LG, which is equipped with a 1440p display, a Snapdragon 801 CPU and a 13-megapixel camera with a laser-guided autofocus, BestBuy is selling it for $49.99 with an AT&T contract, and RadioShack is offering it for free with two-year agreement on AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. In addition, Amazon is selling it for 1 cent with a two-year contract from AT&T and Sprint.
Featuring 4G LTE, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and a 5-megapixel camera, the budget Desire 510 will be sold at Best Buy for $29.99 off-contract on Virgin Mobile and unlocked for $45.99 at Amazon.
It may be last year's flagship, but with its sharp 13-megapixel camera, 5-inch 1080p touchscreen and nifty eye-tracking software, the Galaxy S4 is still a solid smartphone. It'll go for less than a buck (97 cents, to be exact) at Walmart with two-year contract on Black Friday, and $249 on Thanksgiving night for Straight Talk Wireless. Verizon is also offering it for free after you sign a carrier agreement.
If you don't mind the iPhone 5S' compact 4-inch display, the device still has a nimble 8-megapixel camera, Touch ID and a swift 64-bit A7 processor. The 16GB variant will go for $79 with a carrier agreement on Verizon at both Walmart and Target, with the latter retailer offering it on AT&T and Sprint as well.
For those looking for a "phablet" on a budget, the G Vista is a capable Android 4.4 KitKat device with an expansive 5.7-inch display, a quad-core processor and a long-lasting 3,200mAh battery. You can find it on Walmart for 97 cents with two-year contract.
On Thursday midnight (aka Thanksgiving day), Amazon will offer the 2013 unlocked Motorola Moto G for an unspecified lowered price. If you'd like to hold out for the second-gen model, Motorola is currently taking registrations for $140 off the unlocked device. It will also sell it to Verizon customers for 1 cent with a contract.
Bright and bold, the compact Lumia 635 features an interchangeable encasing, 4G LTE connectivity, and an ultra-affordable price. Best Buy and RadioShack customers can nab it off-contract for $39.99 and $49.99, respectively, on AT&T GoPhone.
Virgin Mobile will take $60 off the midrange Hydro Vibe, bringing its Black Friday price to $89.99. But Target will beat that deal even still, selling it for $29.99 off-contract with the carrier. Not only is the phone water resistant, it also has an 8-megapixel camera and quad-core processor.
Sure, the Galaxy S3 doesn't have what it takes anymore to compete with the high-caliber phones of today, but with its discounted price, you can still nab a reliable and fast Samsung device for cheap. Off-contract, it'll go for $79.99 at Best Buy and $199 at RadioShack. Virgin Mobile is knocking $100 off of it too, bringing it down to $149.99.
Already a great budget phone with its long-lasting 2,460mAh battery, bright display and decent 5-megapixel shooter, the compact Optimus F3 gets even more affordable on Black Friday, going for $77.99 for Virgin Mobile.
Decked out with a large 6-inch "triluminos" display, a 13-megapixel camera that can shoot 1080p video and a signature Sony design that's attractive and chic, the unlocked Xperia T2 Ultra will be marked down at $199.99 for Best Buy customers.
