This week we have news on Toyota potentially charging an annual fee for Apple Car Play, the newest and cheapest Porsche 911 you can buy and stick around to the end to find out if your car is one of the most stolen in America.
Lotus has opened the order books for the fastest and most powerful street legal car from the brand to Ever hit the US.

Apple CarPlay is a great feature for iPhone users.
Allowing you to integrate your phone's apps right into your car's infotainment system.
But at what cost?
The Toyota Supra, which is more than a little bit built on top of a BMW Z4, uses the Beamers infotainment system and that comes with a time cap on the free use of Carplay.
Making it the only Toyota to do so.
BMW charges a subscription charge for carplay use after one year, but the supra offers a more generous four.
What will happen after that though, is unclear.
Perhaps there would be an annual subscription charge Perhaps not.
When pushed on the issue Toyota simply doesn't have an answer.
What is certain though, is that neither BMW or Toyota will be in the good books of the apple user community over this.

Kia has issued a recall for 11,423 examples of the 2019 Kia Optima sedan.
The vehicles included in And recall carry build dates between May 21st, 2018 and May 29th, 2019.
And there is no specific vin sequence tied to the defect.
Some of the vehicles are equiped with KIA's 1.6 litre turbo I4 While others used the two liter turbo I4.
The issue comes form KIA's forward collision warning system which includes automatic emergency breaking.
According to the automaker, a software error may cause the vehicle to ignore a stationary vehicle instead of warning the driver, and if necessary, engaging the car breaks.
