At the unveil of the new Tesla Semi, Elon Musk gave attendees a sweet little treat.
Here are five things you need to know about the new Tesla Roadster.
The new Roadster boasts a claimed 620 miles of fully electric range, thanks to its 200 kiloWatt battery.
There's a ridiculous claimed 10,000 newton meters of torque at its wheels.
A quick conversion works out to 7,374 pound feet.
Wait, what?
With so much torque, 0-60 happens in just 1.9 seconds, with a quarter mile blurring by in just 8.9 ticks The Roadster features 3 e-motors, one at the front and two on the rear axle, which enables them torque vectoring both when accelerating and braking.
It'll run you $200,000 with a $50,000 deposit, or for $250,000 you can get one of the first 1000 Founders Series reservations in the year 2020.
The new Roadster makes some wild claims, but I must say, as those numbers are nutty but they're real.
