Speaker 1: Samsung set an event for February 9th. What can you expect? Let's talk about it
Speaker 1: First up. Let's look at the official invitation. There's an animated gift showing off a phone like device, looking at a number 22. Then that number is rotated to see the 22 from or angle is actually shaped like an S the bottom reads the epic standard. So clearly Samsung will pull a Sony and introduce a car. [00:00:30] Nah, it's the galaxy S 22. It's gonna be the star of the February 9th show. If the S 22 is not at the event, this graphic is just silly. Then there's a video tease. Let's take a look at that. Hmm. We're in some kind of dark tunnel. Then we hear a click and now we can see the image of a tiger. At the end of the tunnel, it looks like a person opens a door and goes to the right. We then see a blurry image. A phone sees a person on a motorcycle very clearly.
Speaker 1: [00:01:00] Then it's time to go upstairs. That person puts their hands in a rectangular shape. We can see clearly through the hands, but not around the hands. The text reads break through the night, then break the rules of light. Hey, that rhymes. So that definitely screams that we will see Samsung talking about the low light capabilities of the next galaxy devices. That would mean getting gorgeous images and maybe video, regardless of light, no more grainy blurry, junk. There's another video teaser, [00:01:30] two rectangular slabs circle each other over what looks like sand. One is a very boxy rectangle. The other looks like a familiar, more rounded phone. They dance, and then they combine into one with an explore. The squareish one remains and flies towards our face. Then there's a person standing on a Rocky terrain with a dark sky. That person is enclosed within the foam, like shape and look at that the person, the rocks and the night sky become much more clear the text then reads, ready [00:02:00] to break the rules.
Speaker 1: The two slabs could be the note and slim dancing until they become one. Considering we didn't get a note last year and more devices work with the Spen, it looks like Samsung will be combining the note and the S that's all we have from Samsung officially. But of course there is plenty more that may have leaked. Keep in mind that the rest of what we're talking about is unofficial way back in November of 2021, John Prosser, over at front page tech published pictures of what he said are the first real [00:02:30] life photos of the Samsung galaxy S 22 ultra Prosser nailed what the pixel six would look like, but has a bit of a mixed track record when it comes to leaks. Let's start at the front and put up the S 21 ultra on the right to compare for this video. We'll call the device in the front page.
Speaker 1: Tech picks the S 22 ultra the S 22 ultra is much more squared off on the corners than the S 21 ultra it seriously resembles the galaxy no to 20 ultra ultra ultra ultra. If this is the S 22 ultra, it would mark a departure and design from the S series, which is featured much more round corners in the past. Now month after month after month, we kept seeing leaks to the point that if the S 22 ultra doesn't look like that, I would be very surprised fast forward to the last day of January, 2022, the ever reliable Evan blast unleashed an email with the subject key features of galaxy 22 ultra. It appears to have leaked images [00:04:00] with Italian text. I'll use Google translate to get the meaning of each. The first image shows off the front and the back of the S 22 ultra it's got very squareish corners. The back has the P shaped lens array. And to the left is the Spen just hanging out, just lean in on its big buddy. The next image shows the dimensions of the S 22, all ultra we're looking at a 6.8 inch screen.

They are not within a unified housing like the other S 22 models. The third image details. All the cameras on the back is a 12 megapixel ultra white camera, a 108 megapixel main shooter, a 10 megapixel camera with an F 2.4 aperture lens and a second TFO camera with an F 4.9 lens. There will also be Samsung's 100 X space zoom feature on the ultra considering the teases.
Speaker 1: I wonder if the feature has some big improvements as for the front-facing camera. We're looking at a 40 megapixel shooter, contrary to other reports that spelled out over the pack. Last few months, it looks like the Samsung S series will continue to be offered in XOs and Qualcomm variants, depending on the region. Plus the display would have the same max brightness as the S 22 plus. So what separates out the S 22 from the plus, other than the size, the S 22 doesn't charge as fast. It maxes out at 25 Watts, the other two max out at 45. Those would be the three phones pricing [00:08:00] info has been all over the place. The latest leak is from the reliable ch VN, 88, 88.
Speaker 1: They say that the S 22 will start at 8 99 with a plus starting at 10 99. The ultra would start at 1299. The tweet continues to talk about the Samsung galaxy tab S eight series, which we will get to those tablets would start at $850. So let's talk about those tablets that we're expecting at unpacked. Sam mobile grabbed screenshots from Amazon Italy, which [00:08:30] seems to have posted everything about these three tablets. Evan blast also sent out information on these big screen Androids. Speaker 1: That's pretty neat. Then there's a tab S eight plus it's got a 12.4 inch OED display no notch because it has bigger bezzles and weighs in at 1.2, six pounds. The images released by blast do not show the ability to pair with a smartphone as a second display like the ultra though, that brings us to the Samsung tab S eight. We're looking at an 11 inch LCD panel, the tab [00:09:30] S eight weighs in at 1.1 pounds, all three of these tablets support the Spen expand memory and 45 quad charging according to those images. And lastly, there are rumors that the galaxy home mini two smart speaker could be entering production right now.
