-Hi guys, it's Dong Ngo here and today I have something in my hands that actually feels really good that I want to get angry and throw it somebody, but before I get violent, let me be lovely and tell you what this is.
This is the brand new 1 terabyte VelociRaptor hard drive from WD.
Now, this is not any hard drive.
This is the only on the market for consumer that actually spin
at 10,000 RPM of others.
The means it's very fast.
It's also very reliable and come with a full 5 years of warranty.
Now, 1 terabyte is not a big deal in the world of desktop hard drive, but take a close look.
This hard drive here actually a 2.5 hard drive mounted on a hitching to make it a desktop hard drive that plus the fact that it spins at 10,000 RPM make it very impressive that it offers 1 terabyte.
-Unfortunately, when it takes the drive off the hitching, which you can, it doesn't fit in a laptop because it's actually very thick, but you do that one too to high end hard drive in a laptop, but in a desktop and most specifically as the secondary hard drive with the main hard drive being an SSD.
That's because this hard drive here offer very fast data transfer speed and like all hard drive, it doesn't sub perform the limited program
or a cycle, which all SSD do.
More of that plus the performance, check out the full review at CNET.com.
Now, this new hard drive here is not cheap costing around $300 making it about the most expensive hard drive you can find on the market.
For that reason, you probably don't want to use it as a weapon to throw at anybody or maybe should.
Think about it.
If all the stuff you throw each other cost this much when they offended, you will say, hey, then you go home
save for a few months and maybe you get a second job, get myself a bunch of VelociRaptor hard drive and you'd be very intimidated.
You take me very seriously too.
And speaking of being serious, look, I have 2 of them right here waiting and it's not because I am offended or angry, but it's because-- Once again, my name is Dong Ngo and this has been the first look at the VelociRaptor from WD.
You desktop computer deserved one.
