The Linksys EA8500 Wi-Fi router is one of a kind, for now

**** Ngo here and this is the Linksys EA8500 Max Stream AC2600 MU-MIMO gigabit router.
Now this one's very, very special because MU-MIMO stand for multi-user, multiple input, multiple output,.
Now the MIMO is regular, because most browsers supports that.
But the MU notion is totally new.
Let me explain.
So with the same wi-fi standard, there are different speed tiers.
Slow, fast, faster.
In regular Mimo, the router treat all and every client the same by offering them the top capacity.
For example, this AC1900 here has a top wi-fi speed on the high frequency band of.
1300 megabit per second, but my iPhone 6 has a top speed of just 433 megabits per second.
When the two connect, 867 megabits per second Is wasted.
If I want to go to Starbucks to get a small cup of coffee, but the only thing they have there is the venti, the 20 ounce [UNKNOWN].
Now in MUI mode the router actually approaches all clients with multiple transmission of multiple WiFi tiers.
So when they connect, the connection is at the speed needed by each client.
On top of that, thanks to the increased amount of transmission, multiple clients can access the wi-fi signal faster and more efficiently.
This is like when the coffee shop has multiple barista.
Each serving multiple cup size.

As you can see, MU-MIMO is a better and more efficient way to disable WiFi signal Especially when you have a multiple client.
Each needs something of his own and this Linksys is the first I have ever seen that supports that.
Now in order for [UNKNOWN] to work well, it needs to be supported by both the router And the clients but even with Lexy clients it help too.
In my testing I was able to make all of the clients of different wi-fi Tier to connect at their desired speed at the same time.
that's one good thing, the second good thing is that router has quite fast wi-fi Speed with a sustained real world speed of more than 430 megabits per second.
It also show off very long range and stable WiFi signals thanks to these big, and detachable antennas.
Now this one is a very powerful device is powered by a dual care 1.4 gigahertz processors, 128 megabyte of flash memory, And 512 megabyte system memory.
It comes with 4 gigabit LAN cord here and 1 gigabit WAN or internet port.
It has one USB [INAUDIBLE] port and another port that works either as As a 2.0 USB or ethernet, and this is where it is the most impressive.
When coupled with an external hard drive, it registers the fastest network storage performance I've ever seen with More than 90 mega bytes per second for writing, and more than 105 mega bytes per second for reading via a giga byte connection.
So the question is, can you get it to 12?
MAybe but only if you are loaded because it's expensive at 280 dollars.
And remember it's only worth it if you have multiple clients or multiple wi-fi tiers.
