On the software side, Adobe's Creative Cloud Suite is available for $20 per month.
It includes access to all app like InDesign and Premiere, and you can download them as you need.
There's also a cheaper ten dollar a month plan for Photoshop and Lightroom only.
Microsoft gives students the online version of Office for free as long as they have a valid school email address.
