Did you know that Google is using your mobile device to track your location right now?
It's true, from Google's website you can go back and see all the place you've been.
Now this information is private and can only be viewed by you, but I bet there are people out there who won't be happy to have this kind of data stored on Google's servers.
If that's the case there is an easy way to disable location tracking.
On a computer head to google and open the my account page.
Next click on activity controls under the personal info and privacy section and then scroll down to places you go.
Next click on manage activity.
Here you will be able to view all the places that you traveled with your smart phone.
You can pick a specific day, month, or even year.
It's kind of creepy, and for that reason, if you want to disable tracking, click the pause location history button at the bottom of the page and confirm your decision.
You can also pause tracking simply by toggling the switch to off in the places you go section of the activities control menu.
