Sony Xperia Z3v a Verizon-exclusive phone with most of the same features as the Z3 (hands-on)
Hi, I'm Scott Stein here in New York, and if you've seen the Sony Xperia Z3 and wanted to know when it'll be arriving in the US, the Xperia Z3v is about to come here.
It is $199 on contract, and it's gonna be available October 23rd.
It's a Verizon exclusive.
And here's the difference: It's a little bit different in its cosmetic design, but spec wise, it's the same thing as the Z3.
You have a Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 gigs of Ram, it is a 20.7 megapixel camera, its got a 5.2 inch 1080P display that looks really good.
And this is one of the very first phones that will work with the Playstation 4 for remote play.
It will work the same way as a Playstation vitae, to be able to connect with a bracket to your dual shock 4 controller and play games in your home.
That's like a really great perk.
The rest of this is so extremely solid, state of the art Android phone.
Plus this also has 32 gig of built in storage.
With the ability to add on more.
It's got a micro SD card slot, for an additional 128 gig.
We'll have to stay tuned and see how it performs, but it looks, for the most part, to be very similar to the Z3, might be a little different.
Oh, and by the way, did I mention this is also waterproof, up to five feet, for about 30 minutes, which is pretty fantastic.
I'm Scott [UNKNOWN] with a look at the Xperia Z3V available exclusively on Verizon very soon
