>> What's up? I'm Brian Tong with CNET.com and we know everybody loves ringtones, and we'll show you how the Palm Pre makes it easy for you. Now the Pre supports MP3 files for ringtones, so all you need to do is get your MP3 music files onto your phone. So first up connect your Pre to your computer, and put it into USB mode. It will mount as a disk so all you need to do is open it to get to the folder structure, and then you can just drag and drop any music or specific MP3 files you've created into the ringtones folder. Now once they're copied, disconnect your Pre. Then from the launcher find the sounds and ringtones application, and open it. You'll see the ringtones set to it's default, but press on it and it will show a whole list of other factory ringtones, and if you scroll to the bottom you'll see the MP3 files you copied onto your phone. Select the one you want, and just like that you have your ringtone. Now if we go back into the ringtone panel, you can also click the bottom left hand corner icon to add a song directly from your music collection on the Pre, and then make it a ringtone. It will add it to the ringtone list, and if you want to delete any just swipe over the ringtone you don't want and delete it.
