Samsung's Mini Android phones
-Hi, I'm Ken German Senior Editor of CNET.com, I'm here at Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona Spain.
I wanna show you few Android phones that are part of Samsung's Galaxy S series.
They were actually announced before Mobile Congress, but this is the first chance we get to see them.
And they're all-- the thing it's interesting about them is they're all really small, so, they're miniature Android phones.
They only have screens at about 3 inches, a little taller maybe like 3.2 inches and 3.3, it depends on the phone.
We can just tackle from here, I'll show you, this is the Samsung Galaxy Ace, so,
It's almost-- it has a very Galaxy S design that's pretty square, almost resembles the iPhone in some ways, just with the rectangular body with the chrome on the outside.
It has a 3.5 inch display, so, this is one of the-- this is the largest one we're gonna see, as well as the usual Android features.
On the back, you'll see there's a little bit textured design, so, its kinda nice actually.
It feels good in the hands.
It's also very light though.
This is the Samsung Galaxy Geo, this is 3.2 inches.
They are a little smaller, a little different shape as well.
This is almost the same as the Ace, except it is not textured here, it's completely smooth.
You have the
camera lens, you have the 3.5-mm headset jack, so pretty thin as well, also very light in the hands.
This is the Samsung Galaxy Fit, this is a 3.31 inch, so, in between the 2 phones we've seen already.
So, actually it does look pretty much like the Geo.
It's not too different.
A little rounder around the edges, more chrome, it has that textured back again, so, it has a little more solid feeling in the hands and of course you have the multiple home screens and very similar features.
Lastly, we have the Samsung Galaxy Mini, this is 3.14 inches, so, it's the smallest.
You have a smooth back this time, even though it has a little bit of pattern.
This phone does come in multiple colors, you have black and yellow, you have gray and white, all have this line color right here.
We don't know if these phones are coming to the United States, but we might see them at some point, but they are certainly available in other market pretty soon.
I'm Ken German for CNET, you've seen a bunch of Galaxy S miniature phone.
I'm here at Mobile Congress in Barcelona.
