Samsung's April Unpacked Event: What to expect
Samsung's got an event coming up and the company says the most powerful galaxy is coming.
Here's what you can expect.
[MUSIC]
Let's take a look at the official trailer we see a glowing box being shipped.
The size is larger than a phone box.
The trailer ends with a box flipping.
It looks a lot like a clamshell laptop.
With a glowing box as the screen, that's it for the official stuff.
But of course there's lots and lots and lots and lots of leaks.
The ever reliable Evan Blass put up a post with renders talking about the laptops that would be introduced at the April unpacked event.
They're called the galaxy Book Pro and the galaxy book pro 360.
Both are Windows machines with S Pen compatibility.
The Pro is a traditional clamshell laptop, the pro 360 would have a screen that could bend all the way back like a 2 in 1. In one image, you can see the profiles of the devices, which gives us an idea of ports.
They seem to have a full sized HDMI port.
There are a couple of USB type C ports.
Only one port seems to have Thunderbolt compatibility on each laptop.
Also one device has the old USB a port 91 Mobile comm had more information with what they say are actual pictures of the laptops.
The pictures show a dedicated windows key on the keyboard which makes sense if these are Windows laptop Laptops, both laptops would have 13 and 15 inch variants.
Inside you'd get Intel Core i7 processors with Intel Iris x graphics.
There will also be an option to get an Nvidia and x 450 GPU And Samsung could be using mo OLED displays for the pro line.
m OLED screens have amazing color and deep blacks when compared to traditional LCDs.
Then there's a third laptop, the galaxy book go Sam mobile had the details on this.
Unlike the other machines I mentioned This would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon eight cx system on a chip.
This arm based machine would also run Windows.
The site had spec sheets for the galaxy book go, you would get either four or eight gigs of RAM.
There's up to 256 gigs of storage.
And these laptops would have 14 inch displays.
Pricing information was posted by WinFuture, the galaxy [UNKNOWN] would start at $350.
You heard me right.
Just 350 bucks for an ARM-based Windows10 machine.
Roland Quandt of WinFuture also posted the pricing for the Galaxy Book Pro's in a tweet.
They will range in price from $11,100 to $ 13,100.
There are other Samsung products rumored around but they are unlikely to be at this event.
Eventually we're expecting a new flip and a new fold.
But we'll get to that in due time.
Once Samsung officially introduces everything we will have it all here on my as an actor, you're the best audience in the world and I will see you online.
