Nic Healy from CNet.
I'm in Melbourne at Pax Aus early 2015 looking at some of the great indie games on show.
I'm gonna have a chat with [UNKNOWN] from Blue Volcano about his game, Roto Color Runners.
So the game plays basically a combination of the music genre with MLS runner.
And it's basically built around the idea of visual and audio [UNKNOWN].
The game itself is only three weeks old.
It was born out of a frantic rush that the game we were working on.
I was [UNKNOWN] speed the pack, so we [UNKNOWN] sort of a new idea using similar aesthetics, and that's what colorrunners is born from.
The inspiration of the artwork came from a game jam I did earlier in the year.
We had these big [UNKNOWN] tablets that I've always wanted to use.
And I thought, what can I do with this [UNKNOWN] tablet?
And I always liked the rotoscoping aesthetic, so the idea came all this time making games with rotoscope aesthetic, cuz it's not really commonly used.
