Right or wrong?

>> What's up? I'm Brian Tong and welcome to theapplebyte for all the good and bad inside the world of Apple. Now even though it's been a while, we like to hold ourselves accountable, so let's revisit our Macworld predictions and see where I was right and wrong. We'll start off with my first prediction. My gut tells me we'll see a 32 gig iphone 3g, Apple will tease us with a first look at the new iphone software, but the actual software will be available in June. I think we'll really get native landscape modes for texting and emailing. My gut tells me copy and paste and voice commands too.
Well. That's a great way to get things started.
Ok. My next guess. I won't know this, but if we don't hear anything about the iTunes store going DRM free, we'll definitely see it at MacWorld.
And won't we feel special when they tell us iTunes is now DRM free and every track is 99 cents? Alright, you know, I feel like I got back so much street cred. Next up, this isn't rocket science, but the imix are due and should get a refresh. Plus, based on the product life cycle, we should also see something on the Mac mini front. Moving right along. We should see an update to the iLife '08 suite. It's about time they roll out new stuff and maybe iMovie '08 will finally get back the ability to slow-mo or speed up clips. Aha! I was right on the money with that one! Ok, another guess: Apple TV will still be a hobby for the big A. Oh yeah. No Netbooks, not at this Macworld anyways. What do I bring you? The truth and nothing but the truth! And as for the hottie report, my gut says plenty. Ok guys, so I totally failed you there, but you're still sticking with us, right? Let's go to your emails about Macworld 2009.

>> And yes, that's not a mistake. We threw up the bad Apple logo on purpose. Now Jose Viegas [phonetic] said, "I wasn't really pleased with this year's keynote". Alex wrote us, "Just like others, I'm a little upset at what went down at Macworld". And Chad Gorva [phonetic] said, "You want to know what we thought about Macworld '09? Lame.". Tell me how you really feel, Chad. Now I couldn't agree with you guys any more. This was Apple's last appearance at Macworld and that's all we got? It was so bad that the reporters around me - they were surfing the web on other websites when Phil was showcasing iWork '09. I'm serious about that. Ok. Now remember to send us your emails, to theapplebyte@cnet.com and tell us what's on your mind. I'm Brian Tong, thanks for watching and come back next time for another byte of the Apple.
