>> Jasmine France: If you're traveling constantly you know how important it is to have a decent pair of headphones and they've got to be compact and they've got to be comfortable and ideally they also have some active noise canceling built right in. I'm Jasmine France and I'm here with the Phiaton PS300 noise canceling headphones and as you can see they are very compact on ear headphones. Now these are a competitor to the Bose Quiet Comfort 3 and they do have a very similar design. They're similar oval on ear ear cups here same like cushy ear pads. They're very comfortable. They have an adjustable padded head band. The look is a little bit different though. Instead of kind of the brushed aluminum look you have the champagne gold with this textured I don't know what to call it kind of snake skinny leather on the ear cups. It is a very high end and stylish look. There's a few features of note, physical characteristics of note on these headphones. First of all you have a removable cable. So you can take that out when you're storing the headphones. You also have the noise cancellation switch on the back here as well as a battery compartment all along the top of the ear cup. Finally along the bottom you have these 2 bass boost switches so you can change the level of bass from the earphones themselves. Now these unlike the Bose Quiet Comfort 3 can be used without the noise cancelation activated. So that means if you run out of juice while you're on your flight you can still listen to music but you won't have that noise cancellation feature. Also they come with an extra rechargeable battery in the package. In fact the package includes a ton of extras. You get this nice hard shelled carrying case as well as a charger, a bunch of international adapters; pretty much anything you could ever want. 1/4 inch adapter, airplane adapter, anything you would want from a travel set of headphones is included right in the box. Now these aren't going to be cheap. They do cost $300 and that's about $50 less than Bose Quiet Comfort 3. Now the difference is that the sound quality on the Quiet Comfort's does trump the sound quality of the Phiaton PS300. We found that these don't perform excellently across all genres. There's just a couple of genres that sound really good and that's hip-hop and electronic and just a couple of others. But things like rock and reggae and classical they just don't they just don't sound good on these headphones. These are very particular to a certain genre. So if you're looking for something that's gonna sound good across a variety of genre if you listen to a lot of different types of music these aren't gonna fit the bill for you. [Background music] But if you want something that's super compact, really comfortable, includes all the travel friendly extras and it does play the music that you want to hear then this could be a solid alternative for you. I'm Jasmine France and this is the Phiaton PS300 noise cancelling headphones.
