>> Hey everyone I'm Jeff Bakalar assistant editor here at CNET.com and I'm here today with the Panasonic SCPT 750. The 750 is a step off from the 650. It has all the same features as the 650 with a few other additions. It's a five disk DVD changer that can upscale to 720P 1080I and 1080P which is one of the first home theater in a box that actually does upscale to 1080P. It comes with an iPod dock. Also, it has a music port on the front like the 650, which lets you hook up any device that has a line in jack. It also has an XM ready input, which allows you to hook up your XM receiver. The sound on the 750 is just as good as the 650 if not better. You get better quality speakers. And the 750 comes with the optional wireless unit that allows you to hook up your surround speakers wirelessly. Also, like the 650, there's no video inputs, nor is there any digital audio inputs. Unfortunately, like the 650 the video quality is not up to par. Like we said with the 650, you may be better off just using the 480I signal and having your TV do the up scaling. The other difference you'll find between the 750 and the 650 is that this comes in a black finish unlike the silver of the 650. And the speakers, the front speakers are a little bigger than the 650's. Overall, the 750 is a great value. It's a very good home theater in a box. If wireless speakers aren't exactly what you're looking for, we recommend you opt for their step down model the 650. I'm Jeff Bakalar and this has been the Panasonic SCPT 750.
