>> Hi, I'm Molly Wood from CNET.com here at PMA 2009. I'm taking a First Look at the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3. Now if you were a fan of the Lumix TS series this is the successor to that series. I don't know why they changed the name, but now you know. The big story with this camera is that it has a 12x zoom, super zoom is the thing to do this year at PMA and this is no exception. It's a 10-megapixel camera. It also has a 25-millimeter wide angle lens, so really a lot of shooting flexibility there. And this camera adds HD video shootings and face recognition which was lacking in the TS series. I think the overall that makes it a pretty good package. It also comes in this nice blue that you see here, as well as silver, red and black. So, a pretty attractive, decent sized camera with of course that nice big zoom. Now, this camera should be available in April 2009 with the price of about $399. For CNET.com, I'm Molly Wood.
