ODG taps Qualcomm's lightning-fast chips for AR and VR glasses
The most powerful mobile device in the world right now may not even be a mobile phone.
These new smart glasses from ODG use Coalcom's newest staffdragon 835 processor.
That means they are more powerful than any smartphone you can get right now.
These devices come in two versions.
There is a consumer model, the R8, and an Enterprise version, the R9.
Both let you run Virtual Reality, the Augmented Reality and a Full Computer, right from your glasses.

You can even check your email if that's what you really want to do.
R 8 will be available in the second half of the year and will cost under $1,000.
That's the consumer version.
These glasses run the full Android Nougat.
You can even play Pokmon Go.
Another big feature is the visual quality.
These have full cinema quality display.
The consumer version has dual cameras that let you share 3D videos and images of what you're seeing with someone else.
You can actually stream what you're looking at directly to someone else who has the same glasses.
Because these are a mix of AR and VR, you can do cool different games like a racing game.
Where you're looking down at a table and the kind of racing tracks shows up.
And it looks like you're racing a car.
Then you can push a button and all of a sudden you become the car.
So it's more of a virtual reality sort of experience.
These glasses are lightweight and have cinema quality displays.
The 2720p displays in the R-8 consumer version make it look like you're staring at a 90 inch screen about ten feet away from you.
You'll be able to watch movies from 21st Century Fox and even watch Fox News screen straight to your headset.
The R-8 consumer version will be available on the second half of the year and will cost less than a thousand dollars.
The R9 Enterprise version is going to be on sale on the 2nd Quarter and cost 1800 dollars.
