Nichelle Nichols: Living a long and prosperous Star Trek life

It's like a destination that you know it's gonna happen and you just kind of lean back and enjoy it. [LAUGH] You know, step on in baby. [LAUGH] [MUSIC] Being on Star Trek alone, is one that was wonderful. Almost everything that we did was a fresh. It was well worth it, it was worthy, yeah, being there, and with them. It makes you know that you're involved with something, [BLANK_AUDIO] Very good, and then you can make it even better. Maybe. I think she's terrific. And I was kind of proud of her, too, you know. Yeah. It was good, too, that it was her. Because it was almost like we were gone. Hi girl! [LAUGH] And opening up to one another about where we've been, where we're going, what we're doing now and where we've gone. [MUSIC] Can't get away from them. Don't wanna. [LAUGH] [MUSIC] The people first, the people that came to see you, the people that literally put you there.
