Samsung is set to roll out a new lineup of its mid-range phones under the Galaxy A name.
The news comes during a live streamed Unpacked show event Wednesday morning.
Usually Samsung saves its big, splashy phone events for the higher end Galaxy S, or the Galaxy Note, Or the Galaxy Z Foldable's, but there are more buyers around the world for the lower cost Galaxy A Series, than any other Samsung phone.

There's no camera on this touchscreen smart speaker.
But if you keep the Nest Hub on your nightstand, radar will monitor you at night for movement and breathing.
And it can detect coughing and snoring.
Priced at $100, it's available for pre order now.
And that's not all in the world of Google.
The company is lowering the fees it charges to developers.
For apps on the Google Play Store, developers will only pay a 15% fee to Google on the first $1 million they make each year and it will jump back to the standard 30% commission after that.
The changes begin July 1.
Apple made a similar move with its App Store fees last year.
