>> Brian: What's up Prizefight fans I'm Brian Tong and we've got a battle that's never been fought it's the first ever sound isolating
earbud Prizefight between Klipsch and its X5 and the Shure SE310's. Our judges for this fight are Senior Editor Donald Bell, Assistant
Editor Jasmine France, and yours truly. Now we're gonna take all 3 judge's scores each round and average them out to the nearest
tenth the final Prizefight score will be an average of all rounds using the same decimal system. Now if we're putting these into
our ears they better feel good, Round 1 is comfort. The Klipsch X5's are probably the lightest ear buds you'll ever feel that's if you
feel them at all their thin design and silicone ear tips fit smaller ears like Jasmine's and mine. Now Shure's SE310's have a wide
range of silicone and foam ear tips for all ears but they feel a lot heavier and that's probably because of the weight of the cables.
We're giving the Klipsch a 4.7 and Shure gets a 3.7, next round is style. Take one look and it's pretty much a no-brainer the Klipsch
are stylish and sleek with metal accents but Donald Bell says the X5's look a little anatomical. Shure's ear buds aren't ugly but they're
just bigger they stick out of your ear more and their dull colors look very classic like. The X5's take another round with a 4.3
and the SE310's get a 3.7. After averaging two rounds Klipsch lead by eight tenths of a point. Style counts here but ear buds are
also known to be pretty fragile, next round is durability. The X5's look great but these thin cables really make us wonder how long
they're gonna last the Shure's ear buds are solid and the wires are covered with a hard plastic that feels ultra durable plus their
2 year warranty is a year more than the X5's. The Shure takes this round 4.7 to 3; next round is sound and science. Sound quality's
always going to be subjective so it really comes down to what you like. Now I think the X5's sound is really crisp but it really
focused on the highs Donald and Jasmine absolutely love the sound quality. The Shure's have a fuller sound especially when I listen
to my hip hop where I could really feel the bass of bump to it. Now Donald and Jasmine they liked them as well but just not enough;
this round is a tight one with the Klipsch getting a 4.3 and the Shure's getting a 4. With one round left we're separated by just
one tenth of a point the final round that's gonna decide it all is wallet factor. Both of these earbud sets are 250 bucks that's not
too wallet friendly if you ask me but the sex appeal and comfort of the X5's make them appealing. Now when you factor in the durability
and the 2 year warranty on the SE310's your money is probably going to be better spent on them so we're giving the X5's a 2.7 and
the SE310's a 3.3. So let's average out the scores and after 5 rounds the Shure SE310's pulls out its best punch in the final round
and takes this one 3.9 to 3.8 and is your Prizefight winner. I'm Brian Tong thanks for watching we'll catch you guys next time on
another Prizefight. [sound effect]
