I'm Dan Ackerman we're here taking a look at the HP Specter thirteen.
-- stick with one of HP's high end premium brands along with Andy and inspector you -- -- -- more adventurous design and this new version.
Looks and feels like a pretty standard thirteen inch ultra book -- first but there are few cool things hiding out under the hood.
On first thing you're gonna notice is.
The touchpad is.
Extra wide guys really one of the widest I've ever seen out remote that -- kind of -- -- point of people wrist rest touchpad maybe someday but for right now.
You get an extra -- touchpad that has for the call control zones over here on the left on the right.
And what those controls on what you do with interact with windows -- a little bit better if you want windows -- really designed for you know touch -- used if you're using a touchpad or amounts to try to use a lot of the features like calling -- --
Charms bar like that were all your apps over here like that you know it can get pretty annoying.
So with the controls on what you do is if you click on one -- and -- -- charms bar you can scroll up and down like that.
And the same thing over here from your most recent apps.
And of course you can go back the windows eight screen right there Leo in in real world he is you probably do that data often but I like the fact you have an extra wide -- you can actually use all the scrolling space -- back and forth.
-- high and just -- a lot more service area.
To be on that when I really like about -- thirteen is that the keyboard.
Really well done it's not too much to -- from other keyboards but is just exactly the right combination of key size and key spacing and body size he don't get a lot of dead space here.
I just felt really comfortable.
On display also very bright double other ones out of the water but just you know no flaws no missteps -- mistakes there on the whole package together.
It's nice start -- 999 and that's perfectly reasonable for it upscale feeling machine with an Intel Core I five to 128 DS'S_D.
Attending.
And you get little hint for seventy dollars more you can upgrade to screen to -- -- 2560 by 1440 screening better than HD screen.
That's in the box I would probably -- -- this guy I'm Dan Ackerman and that is the HP Specter thirteen.
And.
