How LG made its Signature wallpaper OLEDs work smarter

LG is already renowned for making the world's best OLED TVs.
With its new signature W8 wallpaper range, LG could soon be known for making the world World's smartest OLED's too.
The LG Signature W8 Range is now available in Singapore and comes equipped a powerful, new Alpha9 intelligent processor that delivers the best ever picture quality on OLED tv's.
The signature W 8 features quad step noise reduction.
Beating the conventional dual step process used by other TV's and drastically reducing both grain and color banding.
Not only that but new algorithms mean the signature W 8 can selectively sharpen an objects edges.
For grounding it and creating a natural depth effect.
The alpha 9 intelligent processor can produce more shades og color than other other TVs and color mapping accuracy is now 7.3 times more accurate than 2017 [INAUDIBLE] TVs Combined with LG's self dimming technology for perect blacks, the alpha 9 intellingent processor delivers true to life color and puts LG OLED even further ahead of the competition.
Picture quality is further improved by HDR.
The Signature W8 supports more HDR formats than any other TV you'll find in Singapore.
In addition to HDR 10 Pro, the Signature W8 also runs Dolby Vision, HLG and advanced HDR by Technicolor.
Not all HDR formats are created equal.
Dolby Vision, for instance, can apply dynamic metadata.
It knows if a scene is meant to be dark Bright, or in the middle, and can adjust contrast, color and brightness accordingly.
You won't find Dolby vision on any old TV though as LGO [UNKNOWN] are some of the only displays that support it.
To truly bring the cinema into your living room, LG's signature W8 TVs also come with a Dolby Atmos sound system which provides 3D surround sound that can separately trap An incredible 128 different objects.
Remarkably, all of this comes in a package that is thinner than four credit cards stacked on top of each other.
Finally, LG's ThinQ AI technology will making using a TV even easier.
That's because you will be able to tell the TV what to do, by speaking into LG's magic remote control.
