With email becoming more and more cluttered, Facebook has become an indispensable way to send messages to your friends instantly.
But what many people don't know is that Facebook keeps two inboxes for every user, one for people in your social network and one for everybody else.
Now if you've never seen that second one, here's how to find it.
Open up Facebook in your browser and then the messages option over in the left column.
You'll be taken to your inbox and shown all of the Facebook messages you've probably seen before.
Now to see your second inbox, go to the top of that left column and select other.
Here you'll see any messages you've received from people who aren't already in your network of friends.
There's a good chance it's mostly spam, but you never know.
Maybe there's a message from an old friend.
Now, to have their messages go to your main inbox in the future, just reply to them or make them a friend on Facebook.
So now you know where to find you second Facebook inbox.
