iPad users, you finally have an official Facebook app now.
If you don't know why this is a top story it's because rumors of its existence have drag down for years now.
Notable features include a way to video chat with friends, watch and record HD video, and play games and apps in full screen mode.
Polycom, a company known for its video conferencing and audio equipment
for businesses, has launched a video conference app for tablets.
Competing with Cisco, the Polycom RealPresence mobile app will work on the iPad 2, Motorola Xoom and Galaxy Tab 10.1 and can take up 16 calls at once.
Polycom says it's working to also get the application working on smartphones.
ASUS will unveil a new line of Ultrabooks today with prices starting at under $1000, but costing as much as $1500.
The thin and light notebooks are designed to rival with MacBook Air
and come with USB 3.0 ports.
The UX21 will come with an 11.6-inch display, Core i5 Intel Sandy Bridge processor, and 128 gigabyte solid state drive.
The high end model is 13 inches with a Core i7 chip and 256 gigabyte drive.
This week Acer also announced a new 13-inch Ultrabook of its own for $900.
You don't need an android device to run android apps.
A new program called Bluestacks App Player lets users run android apps on a Windows PC.
The program is in Alpha testing now,
but it runs 10 preloaded apps and can have 26 more apps installed either by pushing apps from over another android mobile device or downloading apps to Facebook account.
All this because the world needs another way to play Angry Birds and who thought this was an issue news department.
Twitters battle to own the word tweet seems to have come to an end.
A few years ago, Twitter was denied the trademark for the word tweet because several companies use the word tweet in there name and tweet add or tool for sending out advertisements on Twitter, got tweet as a trademark in 2008 for the phrase
"Let your ad meet tweets." Well now, tweet add has now handed that tweet trademark over the twitter in exchange for Twitter dropping a lawsuit in giving Tweet Ad it its user account back.
So, the moral here is don't count your tweets before they hatch or is it a tweet in hand worth too in a lawsuit.
