Got a minute, here's how you can cut back on data usage if you're using an android handset.
In Google's chrome grabber go to settings and find data saver.
This reduces the size of images and websites you use.
Google apps like playing music and news may be syncing content in the back ground Turn these off if you don't need them by going to Settings, find Accounts, choose Google, and select your Google account.
Uncheck anything you don't wanna sync.
Other apps will be updating in the background too like checking email or social media accounts when the phone is locked.
Go to Settings and find Data usage Tap the menu button and select restrict background data.
Once you turn this on, most apps will only pull updates when you're actually using the phone or on Wi-Fi.
