Comic-Con 2017: What to expectWondering what the hottest movies, TV shows and games will be at the San Diego show this year? Wonder no more.
San Diego Comic-Con is quickly approaching. Here's what we expect to be hot at the show. The weather. No, that was a terrible joke. I'll file that, and we'll start over again. Number one, movies. Hall H is gonna be chock full of superheros, with both Marvel and DC out in The full force. Marvel will be promoting Thor:Ragnarok and Black Panther while DC will be hyping up Justice League. Other geek movies likely making an appearance at SDCC 2017 include Deadpool 2, Blade Runner 2049 and Ready Player One. Onto number two, the small silver screen, television. Friday is usually the big day for TV panels and I'm expecting Westworld to make a big splash in Hall H this year with lots of information about its second season. Other great geek shows with panels we're looking forward to, FX's Legion, Netflix's Stranger Things and The Defenders. AMC is The Walking Dead. ABC's Inhumans. Amazon The Tick Reboot and of course CBS upcoming Star Trek: Discovery. Full disclosures CBS is our parent company but I will no apologize for being excited about Star Trek. Live long and prosper. On number three, video game. Games have been popping up more and more at Common Can over the years and this time around, we'll be keeping our eyes on VR and Air installation for shows and movies. Activation will be revelling the zombie call up mode for call of duty World War II, and there will also be panels for Crackdown 3, Destiny 2, and more. We'll have a small crack team of editors on the ground, bringing you all the best from Comic-Con. You can stay tuned to cnet.com for that. And if you are going to the show, good luck and godspeed. I'm Ashley Esqueva. Be good humans.
