>> Hi I'm Molly Wood, and welcome to the Buzz Report. This week I'm here among my people at the MacWorld Expo. First up, the Gadget of the Week. The Gadget of the Week is the MacBook Air. Now this is the new Powerbook that was announced at Steve Jobs' keynote, it was like the centerpiece of the whole thing. And they have it right here, you could kind of almost touch it. It's like super thin, it's not like the most powerful laptop you've ever seen. Two gigs of RAM, like ooh ooh ooh, I think we got a good shot. Maybe I could just, that is big. And now for the news. As you've probably guessed, MacWorld Expo is happening this week, kicked off by the Steve Jobs keynote, which is always a bit of a rock star event. Although this year it seemed even crazier than usual. I think there were thousands of people lined up.

>> So we heard rumors that people were lined up yesterday. Is that something you would ever do for a keynote?
>> Actually I was here when they put out the sign for where you're supposed to stand. And I was watching the guy, and said oh I'm first in line, the guy goes no I am. I said I was just kidding dude. You know, and so he's, that was like four yesterday afternoon. So people were lining up early.

>> It's cold.
>> We're almost in now.
>> We need our coffee, we need our donuts.
>> We want our Starbucks.
>> Wait, you've been here since five a.m. and you've had no coffee?
>> No coffee.
>> No we had, I did.
>> Starbucks.
>> You know, it gets kind of warm and dark in that room, you could doze off and miss something important.
>> Not with Steve talking.
>> I don't think so, no. It's too much excitement in the air.
>> Now you remember last week we were at CES, and I was saying like how nerdy do you have to be to get your picture taken with a Blackberry, and I would totally get my picture taken with Brian Cooley's iPhone? Turns out I'm not the only one.

>> I'm here with our newest iPhone, what's your name, Sir?
>> Leon.
>> Leon. If you could get your photo taken as any other gadget, what would it be?
>> Hmm. I would have to say MacBook Pro.
>> MacBook Pro. Or iPhone. Let's do this. Let's get your picture taken.
>> Well we have the picture of the iPhone with the iPhone. We've achieved iPhone Nirvana.

Now MacWorld is actually about more than just the Steve Jobs keynote, even though I know it doesn't seem that way. There's a whole show floor, and it's got some pretty crazy stuff. Let's take a look.

Now MacWorld is an interesting show. Rather than the Consumer Electronics extravaganza we saw at CES, you see a lot of laptop accessories here at MacWorld. So for example you see behind me the Lap Dome brand of products. You can see it's a little tint for your laptop, you can get even littler ones for your portable DVD players so that you can keep your laptop protected and viewable on the beach or at the pool. In fact I always wanted to take my laptop camping, but I couldn't because it didn't have its own tint [inaudible]. Actually things were really exciting on the MacWorld floor. I mean I saw all these people in line for something that is clearly awesome. In fact I hear it over there. No, it's just that wheel. I'm Molly Wood, and this has been the Buzz Report. Thanks for watching.
