>> Hi, I'm Michelle Thatcher [assumed spelling], senior associate editor for CNET Reviews. And I'm here today on the Apple campus in Cupertino, California, where Steve Jobs has just unveiled a refresh to the company's MacBook line. This is the fifteen point four inch MacBook Pro. It's seen an entirely new manufacturing process that starts with a single piece of aluminum, and chips away pieces to make a stronger, lighter case. You'll also notice that this LED backlit display, it has a glass finish, and like a lovely glass frame. It's really attractive, very beautiful. The other new feature with this system includes a glass touch pad, which is gesture enabled. And you'll notice that it's quite a bit larger than any other MacBook Pro touch pad we've seen, because they've eliminated the button, the entire touch pad itself is the [inaudible]. So inside the case we have two graphics card, one integrated nVidia graphics card, and one discrete graphics card. And basically that lets you choose between the graphics that you want. You can preserve battery life by using integrated graphics, or go for more processing power with the discrete graphics card. Now even with all these changes, the base price is the same. The base configuration for the fifteen inch MacBook Pro is one thousand nine hundred ninety nine dollars. I'm Michelle Thatcher for CNET Reviews.
