A new award for 2014 the Pocket Rocket category is all about the dinky cars that love to go fast, put a smile on your face, and still have room for people and things.
Here's the runners up.
The Ford Fiesta ST.
Ford's latest [UNKNOWN] hatch is nothing short of brilliant.
It's light, nimble, agile and goes rather well.
We loved it.
Audi's S1 put a smile on our faces too.
It's got more power than a hot hatch really should have so we reckon it's more of a hyper hatch.
It's 4 wheel drive gives you confidence and Audi's cabin makes it a lovely place from which to aim for the horizon.
The hot hatch kings Renault are known for making the best front drivers in the world.
The Megane 275 Trophy is a fine example of the breed, especially in liquid yellow.
It left a huge impression on the team.
Renault may be the kings but Sayat is looking to depose the French firm.
Its new Leon Cooper 280 not only took the front wheel drive crown around the ring for a while.
It also delighted us this summer.
The winner though has character, charisma, and is hilarious fun.
In fact, it's all about fun.
It's the new Mini Cooper S. A brief time with it showed us a grownup mini that can still goof off and make fart jokes if it wants to.
A brilliant, little car.
