Volkswagen ID Space Vizzion concept: Electric wagon is production-bound
Now much like today's Volkswagen lineup, the automakers future series of electric vehicles is gonna come in all shapes and sizes from hatchbacks to sit in two bands.
And now my personal favorite, the sport wagon meet Volkswagens D space vision concepts now looks like it's a little bit coy about calling her a wagon because apparently that's a four letter word these days but with dimensions and a profile that aren't too dissimilar from an outage as things have been are all road, you gotta call it a wagon.
Gonna mean just look at that profile.
Now space vision here is going to be based on Volkswagens upcoming electric platform with a 275 horsepower 406 pound foot electric motor at the rear axle, putting that torque to the rear wheels.
Now of course you can also get it in all wheel drive, adding Bringing 100 horsepower electric motor to the front axle, bringing you to a peak 4 motion system total of 355 horsepower.
0 to 60 happens in around 5 seconds.
The Volkswagen tells us that is gonna do around 300 miles per charge thanks in part 2 is very aggressive aerodynamics.
I'm told that Sport Turismo are pretty good at that Now inside we're looking at a futuristic cockpit with an augmented reality head up display instrument cluster and a big old 15.6 inch tablet floating in the middle.
That's kind of the style these days and the interior is also trimmed in what Volkswagens calling an apple scan upholstery, as Vegan alternative to leather that's supposed to be more sustainable.
Volkswagen says they are gonna go forward building this thing bringing the space vision to the Chinese and North American markets and that probably the most crazy thing about it, viva la wagon electrified and all.
