Jeep Grand Wagoneer concept: The fanciest Jeep around

Rest easy land yacht lovers for a new Grand wagoneer is nigh.
Today Jeep revealed the Grand wagoneer concept ahead of its 2021 production model.
The original Grand wagoneer was luxury personified for its day and this concept does not disappoint.
Now, while this is only a concept, I expect the real thing to look pretty much like what we're seeing here which is both good and bad, and let me tell you why.
The Grand wagoneer It looks great from the front.
I ain't even mad at the fact that it essentially has three grills in fact that seven slotted grill is pretty cool with all the lights embedded into it and even that wagoneer name lights up.
The LED headlights are surrounded by teak wood, which is pretty much the only way you're going to find on the exterior unlike the original with his copious amounts of wood panelling From the front three quarter to large 24 inch wheels come into view and they work really well with the Grand Wagoner is full size proportions.
But when you come around to the rear three quarters well it starts looking a little like a minivan and then from the rear, it just looks like a Land Rover Discovery minus the off center license plate.
In a nod to its birthplace, there's a map of Detroit etched on the glass roof.
Pretty cool if you live in Detroit, a little weird if you live in, say North Dakota.
Now, I might change my mind about all of this when I see the Grand wagoneer in person, but in photos I'm not really sure if this is a win.
Of course, design is subjective so y'all can make up your own minds.
Inside things get decidedly better with comfy looking seats and more screens than a 24 Plex movie theater.
It's really just seven screens but that includes one for the passenger which is pretty dope.
I also really dig the two spoke steering wheel as it harkens back to the design of the original Grand wagoneer.
And we know that the production model will feature independent suspension all the way around, paired with a Quadra-Lift air suspension system, three rows of seats, and your choice of three four-wheel drive systems.
As for power train, the Grand Wagoneer concept is a plug-in hybrid, and that's pretty much all we know.
I expect the production model to feature some kind of electrification, as well as gas only options.

As for price.
Yeah.
It's gonna be spending, I mean, Jeep is targeting land Rover here.
So my best guess is that while it may start in the high $70,000 range, you could probably load one up for a hundred grand if you wanted to, but we're just going to have to wait until next year to find out.
