Welcome to the 2018 Lexus RX350L.
For a look at all the technology features [UNKNOWN] Inside of this three row luxury crossover.
Lexus' informed system handles infotainment inside of the RX.
With the massive 12.3 inch screen that features navigation, a 12 speaker audio system, satellite radio and bluetooth.
A not so good thing is that Apple car play and Android auto capabilities are still not available in the RX.
Which nowadays is quite disappointing.
Also disappointing is this remote touch setup, that uses a mouse like controller to control a cursor on display to make infotainment selections.
It makes entering, navigation destinations, and paging through the systems various menus, more time consuming, and is quite distracting to use while driving.
Really it's among one of the worst infotainment controllers on the market today.
But thankfully Lexus does maintain physical knobs for radio volume and tuning.
To charge up smart devices, there are two USB ports in the front center armrest along with the 12 volt power outlet.
There's an additional 12 volt power at the bottom of the center stack.
Then for your second row, there are two USB ports also in the center armrest.
For safety all Lexus are X. 350 else comes standard with automatic high beams lane departure warning with lane keep assist adaptive cruise control and a well tuned for collision warning with automatic emergency braking system that never scared the daylights out of me with any false alarms.
On this test car optional blind spot monitors, and rear cross traffic alert are also installed.
The latter proved handy numerous times at parking lots warning me of other cars and people when backing up.
And that was a dive into all the tech found inside of the 2018 Lexus RX350L.
