Like so many other car companies, Bosch brought a concept car to CES 2017. But the car itself is irrelevant. It's whats inside the car that counts because that's is where Bosch's specialty lies. The concept car's interior looks like the next generation on the connected car with a focus on personalization. Facial recognition acknowledges you when you come into the vehicle and it changes settings such as temperature, music, and seats to suit your taste. Screens for both driver and passenger offer a plenty of information when the vehicle is driving autonomously. For example, you can pull a picture from your refrigerator to tell you what's in your refrigerator. Based on that, it can look at a recipe list, tell you what you can make or can't make. And if you wanna make something that you don't have the food for, you can order it right from the car. The coolest part of the interior though is Bosch's Gesture Control System. It works like any other gesture control system in the fact you move a hand Stuff happened, but the real interesting part is the feedback. It uses ultrasound to provide haptic feedback despite your hand being nowhere near any actual physical surface. It looks weird, it feels weird, but it is absolutely cool. Boschs current mantra at CES is simply connected and this car absolutely exemplifies that phrase. It tries to make your life better using a focus on personalization.
