Today in November 3rd, and here is what's making news on Road Show.
Ford's newly developed safety systems want to add a little piece of mind behind the wheel.
These systems can help you steer around a stopped car.
Automatically brake while reversing.
And even control the vehicle in slow moving traffic.
Ford is not the first automaker to debut many of these systems.
But gaining parity with the competition is good, And a little extra piece of mind never hurts.
Right now it's hard to drive a non Tesla EV across the country, but that will soon change.
The government announced that it will build 48 EV charging corridors covering some 25,000 miles of US highways in 35 states.
BMW, General Motors, Nissan, and multiple EV charging companies will all work together to establish National network of chargers.
Something tells me that Alaska won't be one of those 35 states.
Congratulations San Francisco and Oakland, you have the worst roads in the country.
I should know, I drive a Miata on them every week.
According to a new report from TRIP, a transportation nonprofit, 71% of San Francisco and Oakland's roads are considered in poor condition.
Second place goes to Los Angeles and rounding out the podium is San Jose.
The study estimates that drivers spend an average of $1,000 on costs related to these bad roads.
Last December the government boosted the federal highway budget by By 15%, so hopefully that'll shrink these numbers.
Find out more on these stories over on the roadshow.com and we'll talk to you tomorrow.
