Audi AI:Trail: An autonomous off-roader with its own fleet of drones

The Audi AI Trail combines three things that I love, electric vehicles, futuristic off roaders and freaking drones into one wild concept here, the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Now the vehicle itself suspends a compact single frame chaise over an electric vehicle platform that puts.
Four electric motors, one for each wheel, giving it quatro all wheel drive with an extreme level of independence.
Now the electric vehicle platform is gonna put that battery the big heavy part of the vehicle really low almost in line with the vehicles axles Which means that the AI Trail can both get really good handling on road, but it also, with its off-road design, gets up to 13 1/2 inches of ground clearance and can ford water up to about a foot and a half in depth.
That's pretty impressive and we haven't even gotten to the drones yet.
AI Trail can deploy a fleet I'm told of, I'm told, up to five drones that can operate autonomously to do things like Scan the area around the vehicle with their cameras, or at night, fly ahead and act as sort of autonomous headlights, illuminating the road with their flood lamps, it's pretty crazy.
And the AI in AI Trail means that there's autonomous technology built in.
Audi says that the thing will be level four capable on road and level three capable off road, meaning that it can autonomously handle Forest trails while you kick back and enjoy nature with a silent electric power train with the buzz of about five drones overhead.
All in.
This is working out to be probably my favorite concept of the 2019 Frank for auto show it's like something out of Blade Runner.
