Welcome to the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, or to be precise, the night before it, and the Aston Martin stand.
Behind me is the extraordinary, Valkyrie AMR Pro.
So this case, they're only building 25 of them as opposed to 150 of the road car.
And it's effectively, Adrian Newey unleashed.
It's his dream, unfettered by the irritating constraints of the road car.
It might just be a styling buck at the moment, [INAUDIBLE], but they've produced this.
It's a top trumps card, so I'm going to read you some numbers for it.
Now, weight, 1,000 kilos.
Impressive, good.
Power, Over 1100 break horsepower.
Over, and assuredly some of these are conservative numbers.
So that's a thousand kilo and 1100 break horsepower plus.
Top speed 224 miles an hour, 360 kilometers an hour.
Down force, over 1000 kilos of down force.
Just to remind you The Acella, that's 800 [UNKNOWN] force.
The project one, that 675 kilos of [UNKNOWN].
They knocked them into a cocked out, let's face it.
Cornering acceleration over 3 G so I hope all the owners of these are actually going to have their own private gym so they can work on the old [INAUDIBLE] crossed.
Top trans rating 100.
What else would you expect?
It's an extraordinary machine.
Seeing it like this the strip around the top of the wind screen which you obviously get on racecars that shield you from the sun.
That somehow brings it home just how low it is and how tiny that cockpit is.
Likewise, the massive tunnels that you can see all the through, pretty much to the front of the car on this.
Just mind blowing.
I think, I would normally say at this point I can't wait to drive it, but.
Sufficient in the numbers that I'm actually slightly scared of this car.
But yes, I do want to drive it.
Is this going to be the ultimate car?
Is it going to, obviously, beat the center in the project one?
Is it going to be the one that everyone wants to own and are going to remember for years to come, like the McLaren F1?
