The Ford GT, as you probably know, is fast and flashy.
But then, there's the 2020 Ford GT, which is faster and flashier.
I mean, if it ain't broke.
Ford has rolled out the 2020 GT here at the Chicago Auto Show and Even though it's early in the show, this is gonna be a hard car to top.
I mean, look at it.
But then again, you've kinda already seen it, haven't you?
It doesn't really look all that different from any other GT, and it really isn't aside from some maybe a little massaging around the air inlets to kinda make the airflow channel better.
But other than that, it's about the same GT as usual, except if you look at the paint real closely, you'll notice it's not paint.
It's something called liquid carbon, which is There is carbon fiber with a clear coat.
Can you really top that it looks cool as hell I'm not gonna lie and clarify real standard on that one.
So that covers the flashy part.
Let's focus on the fast under the hood or I guess the engine covers since the engines in the middle on this one is a three and a half liter twin turbo V 6 Same story as usual, but thanks to new pistons, intercoolers, injectors, and a host of other parts and new engine calibration, there's 13 more horsepower on tap for a nice and even 660.
Looks pretty good.
Should handle better too thanks to upgraded dampers and it should sound better too, thanks to an Akrapovic titanium exhaust out back.
That's it.
I mean, that's not a major reader anything.
Don't forget there are still two years left on production of the GT before Ford decides to go, when Lamont was something else crazy.
But until then, if you are a prospective customer of the Ford GT Don't worry 2020 models are already making their way out the door.
Which reminds me, I should go look and see if mines arrived yet.
