>> Hi I'm senior editor David Katzmaier from CNET.com and I am with the Westinghouse W4207, this is a 42 inch LCD flat panel and it's one of the least expensive we've ever tested. This set is pretty generic looking on the outside, it's got this black frame here, it's not glossy black frame, it's actually matte unlike a lot of the glossy frames out there, I actually prefer the matte look because it doesn't attract fingerprints as much. Along the bottom here you would think this would be a speaker but it's actually a flat panel of plastic, the speaker openings are right under the bottom here but you can get audio out of this TV. One of the things you can't get out of it is the ability to tune over the air channels; this set doesn't have a tuner of any kind so if you want to watch TV on it you are going to have to connect a cable or satellite box or other external TV source. In terms of features it has pretty much everything else you would expect including good adjustability and the menu system of the picture, including a backlight control as well as a nice picture in picture feature. Around back you will find two component video inputs, one HDMI input and one DVI input, there's also a standard VGA style computer input. We were also pretty impressed by its image quality for such a inexpensive TV. It doesn't deliver the deep blacks that a lot of the other LCDs on the market do, but then again it's not terrible in that department. There is also relatively good color accuracy, the color temperature presets give a pretty good job of coming close to the standard and we found that we could find plenty of adjustability in the menu system. Anyway that's a quick look at the inexpensive Westinghouse W4207 and I'm David Katzmaier.
