We pummel the powder in Nissan's Winter Warrior concepts

It may seem like I'm in a normal Nissan Rogue with heated leather seats, navigation, sun roof and all the luxuries of a modern SUV.

But you'd be wrong.
Nissan has turned this into a snow monster.
[MUSIC].

normal run of the mill crossovers into the winter warrior concept, Nissan turned to American Track Truck.
For its abdominator track system.
Modifications to the suspension and wheel wells were made to provide extra clearance for the tracks.
But other than that, the rest of the cars, including the engines and transmissions, are as you would find at any Rogue, Murano, and Pathfinder on your local dealer lot.
With the treads attached to this Rogue, the turn radius is terrible.
Turning around, basically it's a 12 point turn every time.
But there's so much grip on the Snow But even up steep hills it just doesn't stop [NOISE].
There's no such thing as [INAUDIBLE] In this car, everything just shakes, rattles.
Really loud.

A Rogue with tank treads, is actually a lot of fun to drive.
As a kid, when I drew pictures of cars, in the margins of my homework, I actually drew cars with tank treads on and And now I'm basically kind of living my childhood dream.

Nissan so, this are one off concept so, don't expect tank trucks to be showing up in a dealing accessories guide for any of these crossovers anytime soon But if you're really interested in turning your Nissan crossover into a go anywhere snow monster nothing is stopping you from calling American Track truck directly and ordering the dominator track system yourself.
The company says the kits run about $9,000 for small to medium vehicles and take approximately 45 minutes to swap on and In awe.
What Nissan has done is taken three average crossover SUVs and taken them to the extreme by putting tank threads on them.
And they're a whole lot of fun to drive.
I just can't believe they let me take them out before shipping them to the Chicago Auto Show.
