>> Hi. I'm David Katzmaier, senior editor from CNET.com and I'm with the Visio BX37L HDTV. This is a 37 inch flat panel LCD television, one of the least expensive on the market. As you can see, Visio did a two tone thing with the styling thing here. I'm not a gigantic fan of the way it looks. Around the edge here it does have a nice, glossy black border, but down below there's a strange indentation in the middle with silver speakers and around the edge it's actually white, as opposed to silver, so there are actually almost three tones going on here. Four if you count the chrome strip along the front of the bass. That's a little bit busy, but again style is something that's very subjective. In terms of features, this set's main feature, again, is the built in HDTV tuner. It also has a good set of inputs, including two HDMI inputs, pc inputs, you can connect a computer, make a really large computer monitor, as well as two component video inputs. There's also a good set of picture controls, including color temperature controls right in the menu there, so if you want to mess around with that it does help a little to improve the picture quality of the set. When we took the Visio to the lab we were genuinely impressed again for a relatively inexpensive TV with the picture produced. Black levels weren't quite as good as some of the more expensive LCD's out there, but color was relatively accurate, especially since, as we mentioned, we were able to tweak it to our liking. Anyway, that's a Quick Look at the Visio BX37L HDTV and I'm David Katzmaier.
