>> Brian Tong: If you're a gamer, did you know you can use most Bluetooth headsets that you normally use with your cell phone to talk to other players online with your Sony PS3? I'm Brian Tong with Cnet.com and in this Quick Tip we'll show you how to set it up so you can start trash talking 12 years olds in no time. So let's fire up your PS3 and in the main menu that Sony likes to call the Cross Media Bar, go to your Settings, find the Accessory Settings, then find Manage Bluetooth Devices. Once you select that, it will ask you to register a Bluetooth device, say "Yes" and then in the next screen select Start Scanning. Now at this point, it will start looking for available Bluetooth devices so you'll need to put the Bluetooth headset you own into its pairing mode. It's different for different headsets so check your manual and instructions that came with it. Now I've put my Jawbone into its pairing mode and the PS3 detects it. I'll select it and the passkey you should enter is 0000 on the PS3. It will then confirm the headset is registered. Now to use the headset in chats, go to the Audio Device Settings, change the input device and you'll be able to test that the mic works properly. So now when it's game time, you can talk all that smack. "Your mama cooks you dinner! I make my dinner fool!" I'm Brian Tong for Cnet.com and there's your Quick Tip for pairing your Bluetooth headset with your PS3. Use it wisely. [Scream]
