-Hi, I'm Bridget Carey with CNET here at CES 2013 and we often see a lot of innovative products here.
How often though do you see a new take on the home phone?
This is by a company called Urban Hello.
It's a startup and their whole concept is that when you're calling at home, sometimes you want to talk to both Mom and Dad at the same time.
Well, how about a 360-degrees speaker phone?
It works like a normal phone in the house by putting it up to your ear,
but you can instantly hit this button, put it on the dock, and now everyone can talk.
On the bottom here, you have your keypad and you'll be able to see what you're dialing on this tiny screen.
And it's also a-- an answering machine that's built inside of it.
And on the top, you'll have a screen that shows you who is calling.
And because this is a startup, well, they are looking for some funding still.
On kick starter, they're still asking for about $160,000.
But when it does go on sale if it's a success, they plan on charging about $169 for it.
And that's your first look at the home phone by Urban Hello, a new take on a home phone that's a speaker phone.
