If you're looking for a large screen phone for a little less than the piggy bank smashing price of the Google Pixel XL and iPhone 7 Plus, Then the HTC Bolt has some good things going for it.
It's a little cheaper than the others, and has Android 7.0.
Music sounds great through the headphones, and you can take RAW photos or jump into Pro mode on that 16 megapixel camera.
There's a ton of storage space, too, and it's water and dust resistant so go ahead and throw caution Caution to the wind.
The phone also has a fingerprint scanner and supports super-fast LTE.
So if you live in the right area, you could see some whiplash speed.
Now, are you ready for the but?
Alright, here it is.
The phone is flat and has a ton of edges, which makes it uncomfortable to hold.
Some photos have a bluish tint to them that I don't like and there's no headset jack.
That means you'll need an adaptor if you don't want to use the ear buds that come in the box.
HTC chose a slightly older processor but that's a bummer if you like being cutting edge.
It also doesn't use the fastest charging technology on the market.
So this doesn't exactly sound like a glowing review, but it is not a bad My phone at all.
It is totally adequate.
It is good enough, and it will do everything you want it to do.
However, the Volt is highly electrifying.
