>> Hey everyone, welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont. Is your slow Internet connection causing you headaches? Well, we can't up your bandwidth or roll out files, but here's a tip that will make Firefox a bit more cooperative. By default, a script is only given 10 seconds to respond before it gives an unresponsive script warning. If you get this message repeatedly, you can increase the script execution time through the about colon config page. Scroll to dom.max_script_run_time and increase that time to give yourself a bit more room. So, the next time Firefox doesn't behave with your slow Internet connection, just make this adjustment and maybe you can avoid bashing your head against your keyboard a few more times.
Got a tip for us to pass along to the rest of the TZ crew, just e-mail us at tekzilla@revision3.com. And as always, tekzilla.com, it's "the place" to find more tips, tricks, product reviews and how-tos.
