I'm David Carnoy, Executive Editor and I'm here at the Sony event where Sony is showing its brand new X05 headphones.
These are the successor to the X10 that was the Simon Cowell headphone.
And basically, these headphones are a little bit smaller, they're also less expensive, they're $199.
They come in 3 different colors and they're basically the same shape as the X10's but smaller and they have the same memory
foam ear pads.
These are on-ear headphones.
They're very comfortable headphones and they're designed to compete with some of the Beats models.
I had a quick listen to them and they do have a lot of bass like the X10's.
They do have a smaller 40 millimeter driver, and they're also a more compact headphone that could fold up as well.
So, good to see Sony going smaller with these headphones, $199 price tag, the Sony X05 headphones.
Thanks for watching.
