>> Hi, I'm Jasmine France, Associate Editor for CNET.com and I'm here today with the Sanda Sanza Connect. Now of course the big news with this player is it gets on Wifi which is why it's got this like cute nubby little antenna like a lot of the satellite radios that you see. But unlike a satellite radio, it doesn't use satellite, it uses Wifi so it must be within range of an open Wifi network or it can be a private Wifi network and enter in your pass code. Handily there's no key pad, so that takes a little while. So handily it actually will save your secure key once you put it in, just once and you'll be able to get on the same network over and over again. Now you may be asking kind of what's the point of getting on Wifi and there's a couple of different things you can do. Unfortunately you can not transfer wirelessly between your PC and the player, but you can transfer wirelessly between any other Sanza Connect user anyplace. You don't have to be within range or anything and you can also send song recommendations to Yahoo IM users and if you have a Yahoo Music Unlimited account, you can actually access that on the player itself and you can get music and save it to the player. Of course you have to be not moving around, because Wifi is usually limited to a certain range. But as far as other features, it does play MP3, protected WMA, will play subscription WMA as well, from any of the services, not just Yahoo. So Rhapsody, Napster, MTV Urge and all that. It's kind of light on traditional features. Doesn't play video, it doesn't do any recording, it doesn't have FM radio, it has this handily micro SD card slot right here on the side to add more memory, because this only comes with 4 gigabytes. The overall design is really nice. It has a really nice feel to it. Does this handily tactile scroll wheel here. You can actually feel it kind of clicking as you go around. You can also press in various directions on the control wheel to access various functions. If you flip it around on the back, there's a built in speaker. Just one mono audio, but it's a nice touch so you can kind of share your tunes if you feel like it and then of course we like the dedicated volume rocker here on the side. You can get the connect, which is only available in 4 gigabytes, for about 250 dollars, which is a little on the pricey side for that size of player, but you're kind of paying for the advanced technology and I definitely think this is a step in the right direction. I'm Jasmine France and this has been the Sanda Sanza Connect.
