Samsung HMX-W300

I'm Josh Goldman, Senior Editor with CNET and if you are looking for a mini camcorder to take to the pool or beach or one that can just take more abuse in your smartphone, check out the Samsung HMX-W300. It's shock proof, water proof, so no fear of getting it wet or being a little rough with it. Like any good shoot and share camera. It starts up pretty fast and starts recording at the press of the button. Setting here pretty luminade but you do get wiped out in control and some fun video effects and there's this My Clip Feature, that let you tag a scene from a longer video, so you don't have to search for a particular point in your shot. And if that's not enough for you, you can shoot 5 Megapixel photos or capture 2 Megapixel stills, while you're shooting in Full HD. The video quality is good, (on par?) with the higher end smartphone or point and shoot camera.
