The Ricoh Theta SC is a 360 camera for everyoneBack with its fourth spherical point-and-shoot, the SC focuses on simplicity.
RICOH basically started the 360 degree point-and-shoot camera category. And this is its latest, the THETA SC. It's a $300 streamlined mid-range version of the company's top of the line THETA S, featuring the same twin-lens design that easily slips in a pocket with full HD video and 14 megapixel stills that capture and entire scene with a button press. If you want more control, you can connect to an [UNKNOWN] android device and use the mobile app, which has been cleaned up to make it more straight forward. What is separated from the [UNKNOWN] is the recording limit of 5 minute per clip instead of 25 minute. And there is no micro HTM I pot for live streaming. The battery and eight gigs of storage are still built in, but the body is resin on the outside instead of the soft touch exterior of its line mate. So if you don't need long recording times and the option to live stream, you can same yourself some money with the new Theta SC. [BLANK_AUDIO]
