>> I'm Nicole Lee, Associate Editor for CNET.com and this is the Pantech Matrix a new 3G phone from AT&T. It slides upward to reveal
a number keypad and it slides sideways here to reveal a full cordia keyboard, this is not a Smartphone by the way, this is a regular
phone with some pretty high-end features here. So, on the front here you get a very nice 2 inch colorful display, underneath that
you get a sort of a round navigation array right here, slide it up and, as I said before, you get the numbered keypad, and then you
sort of tilt it 90 degrees and then you slide the phone sideways sort of, horizontally and you get your full cordia keyboard and the
screen changes from portrait mode to landscape mode. This form factor makes it really easy for you to text, as you can see, ya know,
it's a very nice, wide, and roomy keyboard here for texting. The only thing we didn't really like was that the circular navigation
controls are pretty tiny and the numbered keypad itself is pretty flat to the touch. On the top here is a microSD card slot, on the
side you do get the Rolling Rocker, on the other side is a dedicated camera button as well as the charger jack right here. On the back
you do get a 2 Megapixel camera lens as well as the external speaker. As far as features go it's really packed, as I said before, it
has access to AT&T's 3G Network, so it has AT&T Mobile Music, which lets you download music from eMusic and NavStar, it also has access
to AT&T Cellular Video Service, lets you stream videos from TV shows from NBC, CNN, it also has GPS with AT&T's Turn by Turn Voice
Direction Services, so it's a very full-featured phone for only $79.99 with a 2 year service agreement. My name's Nicole Lee and this has
been the Pantech Matrix from AT&T.
